Meet Mrs. Gimm

Picture
Hi! My name is Mrs. Gimm and I am going to be your third grade teacher! This will be my fourteenth year teaching. However, it will be my first year teaching third grade. I did my student teaching years ago in third grade and always thought it would be the perfect grade. Although, I haven’t the opportunity until now. I can’t tell you how excited I feel to finally get this chance!

I graduated from Monmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I have done graduate work at Drake University with an emphasis in Reading. I started out teaching sixth grade and Reading Recovery (a first grade reading program) as well as title one reading support services. I just completed my tenth year of teaching second grade.

This summer, I spent a lot of time with my family. My husband, Josh and I got to go to Jamaica for a week to celebrate our fifteenth wedding anniversary. My kids’ Izzy and Tanner got to be spoiled by Grandma when we were gone! As a family, we spent long weekends in Chicago and St. Louis and hope to go to Florida next year to visit my in-law’s again.

I can’t wait to spend the next year learning and growing with you!

MY FAVORITES :

Meet Mrs. Edgar

Hi! My name is Mrs. Edgar and I am going to be your third grade teacher!  This will be my eighth year teaching third grade  at Liberty.

I graduated from Western Illinois University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and in 2009 I received a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University. I absolutely love teaching all of the subjects but my favorite has to be math!

This summer, I spent a lot of time with my family. My husband (Justin) and I enjoyed teaching our oldest son, Gavin, how to ride his bike and shoot hoops in our driveway! We also got to watch as our youngest son, Grady, learned how to walk!

I can’t wait to spend the next year learning and growing with you!

My Favorites:

Food: Tacos / Pizza
Movie: The Help
Book: Frindle
Color: Purple
Season: Fall
Sports Team: Cardinals
Fast Food: Taco Bell
